Shopping in Plano

Shopping was one of the most important past times for us in Plano..

Plano, being a residential cum office town, did not have any entertainment other that the 3 shopping malls

Stonebriar Center at Plano was our hang out place. Stonebriar Mall had JCPenney, Nordstorm, Dillars, GAP and many other stores. There was the AMC movie theater where we watched quite a lot of movies there.

Stonebriar had an ice rink too, where we watched an ice hockey match being played..

But the best part was the Food Court... those Jalapeño Prestels which Shobana loved to the Sbarro pastas and pizza with unlimited refills for drinks...
We ate in almost all the shops there.. Starbucks was my favorite for the Regular Tall coffee and Banana Walnut Loaf...

Landing in Dallas - Day one

The start of our stay in US was the most interesting part... lots of drama like Hindi movies.. then a savior...

We landed @ Dallas Fort Worth Airport (DFW) after a 4 hr flight from New Jersey.
Collected baggage and went to search for Taxi to take us to hotel (Fairfield Inn) at Plano.

Shobana spotted the right sign board (Taxi) which directed us to move a level up... But, as usual the knowledgeable Krish goofed up... I went down following the sign saying 'Car Rental'....

We waited took the bus which will take us to the rental place at DFW.
There was one more guy 'An Indian' (what luck would have put him there) in the bus along with us.

The conductor told us we have boarded the wrong bus.. I spoke to the indian guy..
the ocnductor told him to help us and drop us at Plano..

Wollah.. Magic... He agreed to drop us at Plano...

And there we were escaping the first goof up by me and one our way to Fairfield Inn..
We reached and checked in at Fairfield Inn... thanked the guy
